John and his wife Hilda have three children: Luke, Madison, and Noah. John is known for his servant's heart and many have been blessed by his deeds over the years. He now serves as the chairman of the deacons.

Steve and his wife Michelle have three children: Stephanie, Jesse, and Randy, whom they homeschool. One thing that most people do not know about me: I wanted to be a fireman when I was a kid. I wore the boots and hat all the time, sometimes with nothing else on.

For what am I most grateful? My life. I go to work to a job that I love. I come home to a wife and kids that I adore. We look forward to the weekends because we can go a church that is awesome and get to be with people that we like being with. God is good, all the time.

Favorite pastime: Spending time with family, camping, reading, going on the kids's Field Trips, coaching baseball with my two boys, helping others, watching Nascar Races (Bill Elliott & Kasey Kahne).

Hobbies: Coaching the kids in softball, soccer, and just playing with them.
How did I end up in Orlando? I had a pen pal in Orlando. As soon as she sent a picture of herself, I sold everything and moved south. Now we're happily married.
Why am I a deacon? I'm so amazed that God's grace found me in the darkness and that He chose me to be a part of His covenant family. In addition, I am so privileged to be a member of Orangewood, that I'm just happy to serve the body in any way I can.
